Sea-loos

Atmospheric on St. David's Head.
Another set of adventures along the coastline in the magical Pembrokeshire National Park, west Wales.

And the sun shone.  So many foxgloves in early summer.  The Pembrokeshire Coastline, Wales.

F-løø-yen

After attending a workshop, way up in the snowy heights of middle-Norway, accessible via cross-country skis, I had a drier day back in the coastal 'low' lands, exploring the rocky route between Fløyen and Ulriken peaks.  It was stunning; as is much of the country.  (I am yet to see if in the rain, however.)  I paused my tromp for a few moments at this quiet spot, with more of a view over the edge than the shot below gives justice to.

Gazing out onto the Fløyen-Ulriken trail-scape, in the (apparently) rare sunshine, just up from Bergen, Norway.

Pennies in the Borders

I was fortunate enough to spend the last few days of 2015 and first few of 2016 in the Cheviot Hills, being swept around by the wind whilst walking across some beautiful blanket bogs.  A special start to the year....if a little warmer than expected!

Looking down into College Valley, Northumberland.

From above the Hen Hole, post-scramble.  Scotland in the distance.
